Gürsu Municipality was established on March 1, 1930. Celal YÜKSEL, one of the founders, was elected the first Mayor, and served this duty for 19 years between 1930-1949.
Kadir AKBAŞ 1949-1950

Şükrü TOPAL 1950-1955
