GÜRSU MUNICIPALITY PRODUCES PROJECTS FOR YOUTH EMPLOYMENT

Gürsu Municipality adds a new one to its grant projects that it has put into practice.

 

                Within the scope of the grant project studies created by Gürsu Municipality R&D Directorate, a project will be presented to the grant call for "Human Resources Development Operational Program (HRD OP).

 

The aim of the project, which will be presented in April; To provide professional knowledge and skills to young people between the ages of 15-29, who are not students or employees, to improve the developable skills of young people and to participate in business life with guidance support.

 

Within the scope of the European Union Pre-Accession Financial Support Program (IPA), the project prepared to be submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security's "Human Resources Development Operational Program (HRD OP) grant call, collaborates with industrialists in the region.

 

The project team of the Gürsu Municipality R&D Directorate determines the most needed jobs by visiting the industrialists in the region, identifying the most needed jobs in production. 

 

Gürsu Mayor Mustafa Işık said, “Under the coordination of our R&D Directorate, we offer continuous projects for domestic and international grant project calls, especially for pre-accession financial support project calls. We continue to create added value for our region and country with the projects we have implemented. We aim to provide education and employment opportunities to young people with this project that we are creating for employment purposes. ”

 

Within the scope of the project, professional workshops will be established to train personnel in occupational branches such as caregivers, molders, etc., which are among the occupational areas determined to be the most needed by the industrialist.

 

Employment will be provided by providing guidance support to young people after vocational training. With the project, 120 young people are aimed to gain employment by acquiring professional knowledge and skills every year.
