GÜRSU MUNICIPALITY OPENS HORIZONS TO YOUTH’S FUTURE

Gürsu Municipality, which carries out important projects in order to enable young people to broaden their horizons in shaping their future, brings together the youth of Gürsu and Bursa with the youth of the world, thanks to the Eurodesk Contact Point it has established.

 

With the projects implemented throughout our country, Bursa and Gürsu, young people; The Eurodesk Contact Point was established by Gürsu Municipality in 2019 with the aim of ensuring their social, cultural, economic, societal and individual development and participation in active life.

 

With the activities carried out by Gürsu Municipality Eurodesk Contact Point; It is aimed to ensure that young people, institutions and organizations benefit from these programs in the most effective way by carrying out grant-supported European Union programs in the fields of education, culture, youth and sports. In addition, efforts are being made to ensure that young people take an active role in eliminating the negative prejudices that are being tried to be created about our country in Europe and to ensure the development of their foreign languages.

 

Thanks to Gürsu Eurodesk Contact Point with its 354 volunteer employees; Young people are brought together with platforms where they can put their ideas into practice by participating in both face-to-face and online information seminars at the point of getting to know EU programs. In this context, young people who want to take advantage of EU opportunities are offered the opportunity to participate in joint projects and activities carried out by beneficiary institutions all over Europe, as volunteers of the Gürsu Eurodesk Contact Point.

Volunteer young people from many European countries are hosted in Gürsu Adrenaline Park, and Bursa and Gürsu are recognized on a European scale with the program created. While promoting our cultural heritage with the organized trips, local tradesmen are supported with tourism activities in these difficult days.
